It's incredible to be able to use all these opportunities at Harvard Medical School. The seminars in the "Program in Neuroscience" are incredibly exciting and I also enjoy the courses I have taken. It is a bit stressful to combine all this with full-time research, but absolutely possible. In the courses "Neuroscience" and "Genetics in Modern Medicine", you learn from professors who are leaders in their field. This can often be seen in the strong focus on future opportunities. As

The German American Conference is now over and I look back on 3 wonderful days with incredibly great people. Together with the Federal Foreign Office I was able to participate in the launch of their "WunderbarTogether" campaign to promote German-American friendship. I met the German ambassador to the U.S., discussed the transatlantic relationship with members of the German Bundestag and saw many old friends again! It was incredible to meet a person like Juan Santos (Nobel Peace Prize winner and former President of Colombia). He spoke at Harvard Kennedy School about his time as president and about the negotiations with the FARC. I have rarely met such a reflective and inspiring politician. The personal tip he gave me on my question how he never managed to give up, no matter how bad the situation seemed, will always be remembered in my further life. #HKS #Harvard
This weekend I was invited by the Clinton Foundation to represent Applicaid at this year's Clinton Global Initiative. It is a conference with social entrepreneurs from over 100 countries. It was great to meet other young people, who do not accept the status quo.
